Fife Hubbard, the head of the shop,
has a BA from Trinity College in Art
History and a masters degree in Environ-
mental Education from the Audubon
Expedition Institute. After working as
an
advocate for Forest Conservation,
Fife opened a woodworking shop
in Vermont's remote "North-East
Kingdom." In 1997, Fife moved his
custom furniture shop to Maryland
where it sits today in the heart of the
quaint Butler Village. Fife lives with
his wife & 3 kids in N. Baltimore.
In the past, he's taught a course
in 18th Century Furniture at
Johns Hopkins University.
